Privacy policy
At LTO, we use your data to look after you and make sure your tour goes well. This page explains what data we keep when you message us on WhatsApp, ask for a quote or book with us, who we share it with, and how to ask us to see, correct or delete it.
Last updated: 9 October 2026.
Who is responsible
Lleva Tour Operator (LTO), the trading name of LLEVA S.A., RUC (Paraguayan tax number) 80072033-4, with offices at Shopping del Este (Torre B, ground floor, Office 300), Ciudad del Este, Paraguay. For anything about this policy:
- Email: Sac@lto.com.py
- WhatsApp: +595 983 945 945
What data we keep
- Your contact details: your name, your phone number and your WhatsApp profile name. If you give it to us, your email address too.
- What you send us: the messages and files (photos, voice notes, videos and documents) you send us on WhatsApp, and our replies.
- Your booking details: who is travelling, the dates, the hotel or meeting point, the flight for a transfer and, when the tour or the hotel requires it, what is needed to cross a border or check in at the hotel (for example, each passenger's ID document, country and date of birth).
- Invoicing details, if you ask for an invoice.
We get this data from you or, if you booked through a travel agency or tour operator, from them.
What we use it for
- Answering your questions and sending you quotes.
- Booking and confirming your tour or transfer, and sending you the vouchers.
- Running the service: making sure the driver and the guide know who to pick up, where and when, and that you cross borders with your documents in order.
- Invoicing and keeping our accounts.
- Measuring how we look after you (for example, how long we take to reply) so we can do better.
We do not use your data for anything that is not on this list.
Who we share it with
- WhatsApp (Meta): it is the channel we talk through. What you send us passes through WhatsApp's servers and is also covered by WhatsApp's privacy policy.
- The cloud services where we store the information and where our management system runs, with servers in Brazil and the United States.
- Those who run your tour with us, when needed: for example, the hotel, the transport company or the guide working with us that day, or whoever issues the ticket for an attraction. We only pass on what they need to provide the service.
- The authorities, when the law requires it (for example, at a border crossing).
We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
How long we keep it
For as long as we need it to look after you, run and charge for your booking, and recognise you if you get in touch again. Anything related to invoices and accounting is kept for as long as the law requires. If you ask us to delete your data, we delete it, except what we are required to keep.
Your rights
At any time, you can:
- See what data we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong or incomplete.
- Ask us to delete your data (see the next section).
- Object to a particular use of your data, or ask us to stop messaging you.
For any of these, email Sac@lto.com.py or message us on WhatsApp at +595 983 945 945. To protect your data, we may ask you to confirm it is really you (for example, by writing from the same number).
How to ask us to delete your data
- Message us on WhatsApp at +595 983 945 945 from the number you used to talk to us, or email Sac@lto.com.py, saying: “Please delete my data”. If you email us, include your name and phone number so we can find your records.
- We delete your contact, your conversations and the files you sent us from our system, and let you know through the same channel once it is done.
- Anything the law requires us to keep (for example, an invoice already issued) is kept only for that purpose, for as long as the law requires.
Deleting your data from our system does not delete the messages in your own WhatsApp: you manage those in the app.
Cookies on our website
Our website uses the Google Ads tag, which stores cookies in your browser to measure which ads lead to a WhatsApp message and to let Google show you LTO ads after your visit. These cookies belong to Google, which handles them under its own policy: how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Apart from these, the website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings, and choose which ads Google shows you in My Ad Center. The website works just the same without them.
The quote form on our website does not store what you type: it puts the message together and opens it in your WhatsApp, and it only reaches us when you send it.
Changes to this policy
If we change anything important, we will publish it here, with the date of the last update shown at the top of the page.
