These are the tours LTO operates from Ciudad del Este, on the Paraguayan side of the Triple Frontier. All include a bilingual guide and transfer from your hotel in Ciudad del Este, and can be paid in dollars, reais or guaraníes.
Ciudad del Este City Tour

Four stops with a bilingual guide: San Blas Cathedral, El Mensú Museum, a food stop and Monday Falls, entrance included.
City Plus
USD 40 · 09:00 to 17:00
The full day: the city tour plus lunch, a river cruise on the Paraná and a guided shopping tour. Minimum 2 people.
Itaipu Dam
Gs 150.000 · 2 hours, Tue to Sun
The viewpoints of the dam from the Paraguayan side, with hotel transfer. The shortest departure, easy to pair with another.
Tierra Guaraní
Gs 175.000 · Half day, pick-up 08:30
Four stops: Tierra Guaraní Museum, Itaipu Dam, Tatí Yupí Park and Hernandarias. The park closes to visitors on rainy days.
Paraguayan Night Show
USD 30 per adult · Tue to Sat, from 19:00
Barbecue buffet at the Hoplon Club with Paraguayan harp, folk dancing and a caña tasting. Hotel transfer included.
A Night in Ciudad del Este

Shopping at New Zone, dinner with a show at the Hoplon Club and a close at the Casino del Este, with a bilingual guide.
How to choose
If you have half a day: the city tour, morning or afternoon, or the short Itaipu visit at two hours. If you have the whole day: City Plus, which puts the tour, lunch, a river cruise and shopping into one fare. If you want nature and a museum: Tierra Guaraní. If you are looking at the evening: the Paraguayan Night Show for dinner and a performance, or A Night in Ciudad del Este if you would rather have the whole evening organised.

Getting here and entry requirements
Most travellers arrive through Foz do Iguaçu airport (IGU) on the Brazilian side and cross the Friendship Bridge. Every passenger needs a valid passport or national ID, children included. Brazilian, Argentine and Uruguayan citizens do not need a visa for Paraguay; other nationalities should check the current requirement for their passport before travelling.
