The Foz do Iguaçu City Tour runs in two shifts: the morning one, from 08:00 to 12:00, and the afternoon one, from 13:00 to 18:00. Pick-up from your hotel in Ciudad del Este is at 07:00, because the border crossing has to be allowed for before the tour starts.

That hour between pick-up and the start of the tour is the detail most worth keeping in mind: if you are staying in Ciudad del Este, it is an early start. The date is arranged when you book.

What the panoramic bus is like

The tour runs on modern panoramic buses, both open-top and closed, with panoramic windows, preferential seating, cinema-style screens and 24-hour monitoring. It is the only LTO service operated with this type of vehicle: the other tours use LTO's own fleet of vans, minibuses and cars.

The open-top version is the one people want for photos; the closed one is the better choice if the day is very hot or rainy. Which of the two is available depends on the date and is confirmed when you book.

Entry to the attractions is included

That is the big difference from LTO's other trips to Brazil. On the transfer to Iguazú Falls and on the Three Borders Show, LTO provides the vehicle and admission is paid separately. On the Foz City Tour, entry to the attractions on the route is included in the fare.

The minimum booking of 3 people

The Foz do Iguaçu City Tour requires a minimum booking of 3 people, the highest minimum of any LTO tour: City Plus and A Night in Ciudad del Este require 2, and the Ciudad del Este City Tour has no minimum. Bookings are made 24 hours in advance.

Documents for crossing into Brazil

The trip crosses the border over the Friendship Bridge, so every passenger needs a valid passport or national ID, including children who travel free. Immigration requirements are set by Brazil and Paraguay according to your nationality, not by the tour operator: if you have any doubts about your case, message us before booking.
